![]() ![]() Like imagine applying this same flow of logic to something like a music concert featuring a problematic musician. In this day and age, buying something used as a form of protest is not even doing the bare minimum yet patting yourself on the back. That's a much more genuine form of protest in the year 2023, where even if you buy a used game you're still contributing in some way to a game's success. Can't even name the specific development studio off the top of my head as a result. I just pretend it doesn't exist, I don't engage. ![]() I don't even talk or reference that game outside of Era. Instead of twisting myself into a pretzel to make some excuse where playing it is valid I just have not purchase or played the game in anyway shape or form. As an example to this day I still haven't played the wizard game. It is no longer a useful means of protest. The part where game publishers are entirely ignored used game purchases for an entire generation after heavily pushing back against them after finding new and better ways to monetize games is part of the point. ![]()
